Gap Road

Modern black and concrete kitchen with warm wooden details.
Description

This concrete extension's functional design and bold finishes won it a nomination in the 2014 'Don't Move, Improve!' awards.

MUSTARD Architects designed a black kitchen which holds its own alongside the uncompromising concrete, and we made it with a specially-sourced MDF in an oiled black. The Corian worktop is also black along with stainless steel worktops, and an oak seat is built into the central island.

The clients were especially pleased with the striking black MDF.
