Living in a large and light open-plan loft suited this client until he wanted some sleep. There was too much light and noise in the top floor of his industrial building to allow for quality shuteye.

To create a separate sleeping area without building a room, we designed large sliding doors out of birch plywood and hand-painted MDF, with a cork feature along the bottom, which added warmth.

The client says he can finally sleep without waking up during the night!
